Hey guys , so i won a shark vacuum and steamer on sharks fan page, on facbook i was a winner. They are having contest ,and ill you have to do is post a cleaning tip, and you might win the cleaning products which is the shark vacuum and a steamer. Im very happy with both. Ive used my shark vacuum 4 times and im in love with ,and the steamer. The only complants, i have is the vacuum makes my back score i have back issues . And the other thing is one of those hoses like on a dyson . So i might have to go back to the miele. Anyways ill keep yall updated

I have the Navigator that is not the Lift-Away model. It is a fun vac to use and does a good job. Having separate motors for suction and for the brush makes switching very easy.

In my view bagless machines are not really bagless, they just have a hard body bag which does not filter as well as a cloth or paper bag so has to depend on separate filters to keep the exhaust clean. Some keep their filters clean longer than others depending on the efficiency of whatever cyclonic action they have. Shark recommends cleaning the filters by washing every three months but I feel they should be cleaned more often. In time the dirt cup will become more translucent rather than transparent from the abrasion of dust on the clear plastic.

I bought my first Lift Away nearly 2 years ago. We sold that one to Mike's cousin - still runs like new. Bought another one to replace it, and that one went to his mom. My cousin, Mike's sister and aunt/uncle bought them - love them!

Mike was the first winner of the Shark cleaning combo. Great products. We just picked up the new Lift Away Pro last week. On top of that, I just won the Shark cleaning combo on Facebook a couple days ago... they're in transit now.

They're proving to be about the best machines for the money. No more Dysons for us! You can get 2 Lift Away Pros for the average price of one Dyson with money to spare - no brainer, in my book!

They really have great airflow and suction... probably better than just about anything else on the market. They're definitely worth a test-drive. If you don't like it, return it. There are a couple very minor quirks about them, but nothing to get excited over. No headlight... neither does a Dyson... The hoses are stiff, but keep working with them to soften them up a little... no bumpers... really minor stuff.

The Shark Navigator Lift Away Series is truly the best bang for the buck!

Update

We finally used the steam mop last night - it works great on bare floors, and the handheld steamer has some good force behind it. We're very impressed with them so far. The only complaint with the Lift Away Pro mop is when using it as a portable hand steamer, it doesn't have much force behind it.

Dust

So i only had mine for almost 2 weeks and i started noticing fine dust coming out the bin i saw . Its not sealed well

A lot of bagless vacs in my collection have a lot of dirt around the seals. My dyson usually has some cat hair sticking out of the bin.
