I wanted to repaint an old Hoover that originally had a seal greige base and handle - does anyone know of an "over the counter" solution, or am I going to need a prescription?
They'll match anything. A good friend of mine painted his dining area the 2 colors of the Brady Bunch HOOVER... took the cleaner to H Depot, and it was matched perfectly. There are 3 shades of that seal griege.
Get it professionally powder coated if you want a durable, long-lasting, consistent and matching finish, as that's what they'd have done originally, DIY painting if you're not too experienced can turn out looking pretty poor if you get it wrong (such as it being too cold to let the paint dry properly, applying too much, or too little, not prepping it properly, etc.)...
