Hey Guys, I am selling the last of my canister vacs. I bought this Orange Connie at the Vac Museum clean out. They certainty took care of this one with only a few minimal scratches and the typical rust on the bottom. I did a simple clean up and added a new bag.
It runs perfectly!
As you can see from the last picture it was made in North Canton, OH the 29th Month and the 40th day of 1978. (OK i don't know when it was made! Do You?!)
I would like to 85.00 out of it but i will pay shipping. If you have PayPal you can pay today and I can ship tomorrow!!
Thanks for looking!

Your Connie is in her late 40's

From what I've gathered reading some older posts,
that Pumpkin/Grey color combo ended in 1971. I'm
not sure how far back it started, but with that
high a serial number, it could date anywhere from
1967 to 1971 (total guess).

The Hertz notation on the bottom makes me think it's later in the run, as I have seen other 858s that mention Cycles instead.

Thanks Guys for the Info!

She is still for Sale and i am Lowering the Price to 75.00 But remember that INCLUDES SHIPPING!

I am also selling my new version of the Connie with this Stainless Connie in PERFECT Shape!
Would like 100.00 for this and again i will INCLUDE Shipping!!

The pumpkin Connie should have that secondary motor filter and funky metal keeper ring.

I'd be interested in the stainless retro one (don't need another pumpkin Connie)....how much use has it had?
