Well I am no expert and only going on theory and what Sebo deduced as being the issue with ours.  I have contacted my supplier who is happy to have it returned to them.  However I would rather, like you get it repaired.  I am not willing to pay for the repair since it is within guarantee. 


The theory, if the machine believe a blockage exists then the motor will work harder to compensate, hence why the overworking of the motor, as to the vibration it is difficult to ascertain when it is not here in front of me. 


I will chase Germany on Monday and see what they are planning to say on repairing it, if I have any joy I will be happy to let you know.  As with regards to the retailer I am not aware were you bought it from so I can't comment.
