Well, personally I'd discount the S7 completely - its far bigger than the Felix, much more powerful and bulkier to use. I had one. I hated it. I don't see why I have to keep pressing on the pedal to elevate the floor head over difference surfaces. Much prefer Miele's canisters, for a lighter, quieter clean - even though in both cases, you only get 4 dust bags for a similar price that Sebo supply 7 or 8 for.

Dyson DC41 - a great design let down by the biggest design flaw - the central ball - I just couldn't get on with it, struggling to get under low furniture. Also the brush stop button is inclined to stick and the rattly noise of the back wheels also got to me. I didn't own one but I did have to use one at work constantly. Eventually took my Numatic James in with a turbo brush - also a great deal quieter than the Dyson.

Felix wins for me - it goes under low furniture, it seems easier to turn left or right despite not having a looped handle. Could do with a longer hose but then it is marketed as a small to medium upright vacuum hence it's smaller dust bag capacity at 3.5 litres and now has a Charcoal filter fitted to it as an option with newer synthetic dust bags. Even after all those years, I still think it could be made quieter.
