Scafitex vs. Microtex bags

I understand that in the world of Royal vacuum cleaners, some have Scafitex bags and others have Microtex bags. What's the difference between these types of bags? Were they different brand names for the same thing made by different companies, or are they different grades of material with different properties?

The Scafitex outer bags are much higher quality than the Microtex outer bags.
