Sanitaire surprize

When I visited the Greenville Vacuum and sewing to see Mike-He reserved a Sanitaire SC883 for me.This is one of their Contractor series machines.This one uses the SP type disposable bag-gone is the paper bag fill tube of the FG bags.This is a BIG improvement-and the bag is Filtrete.Other very nice touches-comfortable loop type handle-and handle mounted switch.the vacuum has a replaceable 3 wire 50Ft cord.
Now when I tried this machine-WOW-what an improvement over other Sanitaires-this thing is easily as powerful as the Kirby Sentria.Gave it a test spin-does rather well.And yes it picks up.Will put a fresh bag in it when Mike gets the new ones in.another one of his customers ordered this machine for his shag carpet-imagine a 4,200 sq Ft home of the stuff-Whats in the bag now is LOTS of blue carpet fluff.I did see the dirt I picked up.When the beast runs the floor REALLY shakes-Has a Vibragroomer or similar brushroll-all metal with the beaters.This machine will give Kirby and Royal a good run for the dirt on my carpets!Its a really nice machine to use!Saniataires have REALLY improved!

I wonder if its the change to the SP Filtrete bag system.I made a link to the Sanitaire site-the one I wanted to link isn't working.This link works-go to the part about the "Contractor" series vacuums.Its the SC883-the one with the disposable bag system.
