so for about 3 years now ive been using a sanitaire sc889 with a plastic motor for work cleaning offices i love it but i hated having to shake out the bag every time i use it (the bag would fill up everyday) so i looked on line and decided that if i used f&g bags they would fill up in 2 days so i decided to try the dust cup my vacuum shop had one but it did not have the gasket so i had to make one with silicone and gorilla glue and it works amazing it seems to edge clean better with this set up so i was wondering am i weird for doing this has anyone taught of doing this

We just got a Sanitaire at my work and we love it!!! It's an SC888 with ST Bag setup and all bristle VibraGroomer One for glued-down flat commercial carpet. The cleaner is getting up years of dust a suction-only Johnny Vac tank vac left behind. Thank you to McHardy Vac in London, Ontario for a great deal and fast delivery!

(When I use it in the office, I can pretend it's a Eureka Williams Dial-a-Nap 2042 from 1974!)

If I were to ever recommend a classic fan-first upright for home use, this would be the one! (Except it does not have a headlight....)
