Both setups leak dust, so, they're both flawed (the Sanitaire cos it's got such high airflow, and the Hoover just hasn't got good bag material), I suppose it's their attempts at what Kirby had done for many decades previously, having a shakeout bag over a collection vessel that you emptied out after every use, but didn't quite work so well, but still, shakeout bags, as handy as they are when you've run out of bags, leak regardless of the vacuum make... :\
Personally, I'd say, yep, that looks cool, and then buy a nice shiny new ST bag setup for it, like this one in the link below, I'll be doing so with my Electrolux C12 as it is shakeout-only as-is, mainly to calm it down cos the damned thing likes to wander off on it's own if I let go of the handle!!!
