ok, i found a motor brush end-bell (plastic bearing/brush holder) some gaskets, a new brushroll, plate and used wide-track front assembly.
franken vac is complete! it picks up and grooms as good as the normal nossle, slightly less suction, but enough to pick up the carpet and suck up a piece of paper with 1/4 of the nossle.
what suprized me the most is that it moves so eaisily, even more so with the huge brush.
it just plain looks cool 
by the way its a model 2000 8.7A green with a serial of 93**** what year is it made?
