Royal Type A outer bag conversion

I know it would be easy but expensive to add a updated Type B bag to an older vacuum like my 886 but is is only available in black and would ruin the coordinated look with the blue trim it has today.

I also know after market Type F&G HEPA bags are available but not widely distributed like Royal Type B.

Can some one who has a type B publish good pictures of the Type B riser tube as well and make some basic measurements of the height of the rise and the outer and inner diameter of the tube that fits into the Type B.

A Type A example is below. If we could start with this end of the bag and work upto the Type B interface with good lighting people may be able to convert to type B with the existing outer bags.

Would an

Hoover Type A bag fit on the Royal top fill tube?? If it does I am going to wwitch my Royal type B bag over to Hoover type A bags. It is really hard to find Royal type B bags or any Royal bags around here..
