Not a rare red one like Aeolian Dave's -- but a blue Royal 4600 Power Tank! Whoohooo! And I do mean Whoohoo! Royal's were the turning point for me in my vacuum addiction. I've sort of a thing for canisters, even though I've used mostly uprights. Then after seeing Dave's red one with its tool saddle, the old craving reared its head. Figuring just one hit wouldn't hurt, I paid the "Buy It Now" price (go ahead, tell me how nutz I am, I don't care. I have a Power Tank and you don't! So :-P~~~ x 100)

Here's the eBay pic. I have to buff some of the plastic, and may have to replate the cord holder, but I am IN FRIGGING LOVE with this machine!

That's....

...a blue Royal Power Nozzle. :-)

I need to replace the bulb in it, and buff the plastic.

I am absolutely in love with the variable suction on the wand handle....'tis electric and adjusts the motor speed in the canister. Totally freakin' cool!

Wow, that is one sexy cylinder there, John

I was just gonna say you got a sexier PN to go with that racy electric blue than I did and I love how the front casters give it that belligerent Bulldog wearing a winter poncho appearance.

Rugmaster Chad will be able to explain where the FQ and blue Pony Gort helmet type PN originated. It does have the lovely ROYAL script on it. Is it a flat sticker, silkscreened or raised proud of the surface as it appears?

I would have thought that the blue and yellow ones are rarer as they look so good, who would toss one away?
"Figuring just one hit wouldn't hurt". Yeah right, now we're gonna want every color...

Referring back to Chad's invaluable info about mine, is your speed control slider located on the handle grip?

Welcome to the Pony Club, John.

Thanks for the welcome, Dave!

"Yeah right, now we're gonna want every color... "

Uh huh. If you're gonna start something, you should finish it right? Not doing so is just plain flaky, and I abhor that trait.

The "Royal" crest on mine is indeed raised, as you noted. And I LOVE your "Bulldog wearing a winter poncho" description -- it is SO apt! In fact, I think this vac will get the name "Bulldog Dave" in your honor!

The speed control is located on the handle grip, yes. The handle grip is majorly cool. I like the speed control, the dual swith (vacuum on, vacuum + pn on). And what a kick the little diode light is to tell you the canister is powered on!

There were yellow ones? Hmmm.....

Now John, that vacuum looks like it means business!!! It's ready for some serious cleaning!!! Just beautiful!!!
