i found a royal METAL UPRIGHT motor in our junk box today...problem is i nor anybody else at work knows the specs....so the owner chucked it and i got it, but some info stamped on outside of it. three sets of numbers.....AGSE491019....2870102000......REVC 101603...with a RJ or JR stamp....got no pics till wife gets off work..but in great shape and def a royal metal upright.
PLEASE HELP ME FIGURE THIS OUT..PRETTY PLEASE..ITS KILLING ME..thank you.

I'm assuming since the motor was complete in the box that it's one of the TTI drop-in motors? If so it's gotta be a 9 amp+ motor. The classic Royal uprights had motors that were actually assembled into the cleaner base a lot like a pre-Generation Kirby.

THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH GUYS!!! man that was killing me...i still cant believe the stuff he tosses...but not new in the box...he wanted that? got me?...but thanks again guys...u rock...btw- this motor anygood..as far as drop ins go.

I'd guess it would be annoyingly loud from what many people say. It also sounds like monster vac potential too. I'd try to make good use of it.

no doubt its gonna be a loud one,a beast in the making..or i could look for another kirby htg2,but with a trashed motor and see if i can put the beast in place of the blown kirby one...wonder how it would work against the g series line...
