Royal Experts!

Hi there, talking to a guy who has one of these. His picture is blurry, so I found this picture.

Can anyone tell me about these? I have not asked, but the picture is of a 606.

Those bag graphics really speak to me.

Garry,

Believe it or not I am still on the hunt for one of these myself! Why? Because I remember my grade school, junior high school and high school each having two of these - a standard 14" unit and the super-wide 18" unit.

I really hope your deal goes through.

I passed....

on the deal. He went very pricey...too high for me. He went on to tell a story that it was used at the Ritz Theater? He said he had to ask his GF about selling it and next he came back with a story and a high price.

The Ad was 2 months old, small estate sale. Noticed it in a picture alone with power tools and took the chance to contact him. He also had a newer Royal, but got pricey with it as well. I understand the price for a vintage vacuum, but condition and price is very important to me.

Let me know if you want his contact information.

Garry,

I hope you can let some of your other friends here know about this, 'cause I can't buy it, either.

But the story about it being used at the Ritz Theater was great!

Exactly how old was it? I want to think the one you saw was only 3 amps, but going into the early to mid 1980s, there were 4.5 amp models and then 5.4 amp models.

Here ya go.......

Here is the picture of the vacuum and here is a picture of the old Ritz Theater. I think it is an Alamo Draft House now. Fyi, he was wanting $200 for it.

His story MAY be true.

Contact me for his contact information. When you do send me an email, put Vacuumland in the subject to get it read. If you don't hear back, try again. I may have deleted your first email.
