Can anybody tell me about this canister. I got it from a guy sell vacuums on Craigslist. The model number is rubbered off and possibly try to find more parts to it.

You have a model 401 "Pony" tank and the serial number dates it to March 1977.

Nice find Ryan! Very powerful vac. Ben is right about the model and age. Now all you need are the hose, wands, and attachments!
