Does anyone here familiar with Royal know anything about the model 620 Heavy Duty Commercial wide-track upright? It was similar to the 618 because of its 18" wide-track nozzle, but the 620 (to the best of my knowledge) also had a cast headlight on it (a la models 285, 602, 606(A), 777 and 801).

The reason I brought this up is because I was looking at an eBay auction for a 1984 Royal Prince (complete with box and all literature), and one of the models mentioned which used the 18" brush roll was the 620. Its non-lighted equivalent, the 618, was more common. The 618 and 620 were replaced during 1987 by the 680 and 682 respectively.

August 1984 Handy Parts Mailer

This Handy Parts Mailer dated August 1984 shows an 18" brush roll available for models 618 and 620, both of which are heavy duty commercial wide-tracks. The 13" brush roll was used with all other Royal metal uprights.
