Hi,
I have a question about a peculiar-looking label on some Royal household and commercial vacuums: what does it mean on some of the higher-ups, the label applied below the Adjust-O-Rite plug or standard belt cover, which reads "HEAVY DUTY COMMERCIAL QUALITY."
Many post-1990 Royal uprights went for the "COMMERCIAL QUALITY" (although two early models in the Preferred Collection series, which date from 1989, had this: models 8000 and 9005, and the 9700 which replaced the 9005 during 1990).
One household model has this label: model 885 (blue trim color overall), and so far I spotted one commercial model with the same label: 6005.
Anyone familiar with Royal all-metal uprights please help me figure out this peculiar labeling.
Thank you,
Ben Edge (KirbyClassicIII)
