Your machine appears to date from at least 1976 and will end at 1986.

This is one of the
Kingston/Saniway/Royals, there were slight variations on a machine designed and built by Kingston co of Bronson Michigan, I have a pink one , model 975 from 1963, if you look at the one you have, you see by this time a combination of all 3, the handle is the same as the Kingston and first Saniway, the lid is still Royal, the Saniways and Kingstons had a hinged lid, the Royals always had side clamps, the switch is Saniway or Kingston, the earlier Royals had a toggle switch, this style canister is one of my all time favorites, great airflow as well as suction, and very quiet.
