I decided to upgrade my Ridgid WD1450 that I got a few years ago with something a little bit more high end. The new unit is much more powerful than the old one, and the motor is much smoother. I'll post some photos of it and a link to me dinking around with it.

First Run Video

For some reason I am not able to embed YouTube videos here anymore, so here is the link to the video on my YouTube. Don't mind the mess, it was laundry day including the dog's bedding :)

Very nice shop type vacuum-but alas-the Home Depot store in my area closed!HD was the dealer for Ridgid products in my area.Like the tangental discharge-easier to sue the vacuum as a blower.

I have ordered online thru HD-couple of tools-WILL NOT DO IT EVER AGAIN-their online ordering is HORRIBLE-took almost 3hrs!!For that I could have DRIVEN to another store and picked the items up!I think there are other stores in Fayettville and perhaps New Bern.Easier to drive there.
