What are the boards thoughts on the Riccar? Saw a video comparing agitation to the Miele.

Is better than Miele I was a Miele dealer and a
Simplicity same as Riccar (Tacony) dealer .

Yes Simplicity and Riccar are

Both made by Tacony so is Maytag and Fuller brush vacuums .

Fullers are mostly made in China while Maytags are made in the US, with appropriate price differential.
