I took a break from restoring my piano this weekend and rebuilt this little guy...before #1

First I had the leads going to the wrong brushes...ran backwards...LOL

The Bag

I actually sewed this...made a stencil of the lettering then sprayed it with fabric dye.

Yeah, there is a little

over-spray on that bag lettering. I'll clean it up after it cures...

I love Westinghouse products. That is a classy resto job. Did you paint it or polish it out?

I painted the handle, but polished the Bakelite. Also un-dented the front emblem/cover.

Great Job, Rick!

You always do an excellent job on everything you restore. I wonder why Westinghouse made the handle out of wood instead of bakelite like everything else on this hand vac. Any ideas?

What a great job. I have one myself but I think the handle is plastic unless it's just painted with a glossy hard paint.
