Regina>Oreck

The story is that David Oreck bought Regina years ago, not sure when, but some of their models, the stick vac being one, carried over with the Oreck name on it. Six years ago when I started working part-time for Oreck, we still had the straight suction model as well as the power nozzle model in our stores. They sold well but eventually disappeared. We still sell parts/bags for them, and occasionally get them in for service. Our Rinse-A-Matic steamer that is still sold was originally a Regina design, and I might say, the most awkward, most unuser friendly steamer I've ever seen. When someone comes into see it, we try to sway them over to an Orbiter using the dry clean powder.

Regina

First Regina, then American Elux bought and put Electrolux name on hand vac and older broom, then Oreck bought. The broom in above picture may be after Elux period and had a power head version also.I have bags in attic if needed. Most had a cup with sponge filter at top.

I would love bags . Should I hang on to this one don't know much about the stick vacs I focus uprights and select canisters mostly. But regina is classic and takes me back
