Red Electrolux Canister Vacuum?

I am not sure how old this listing is and the photos are terrible, but I seen this weird red Electrolux canister on LetGo. I have never seen one in red before. I am wondering if this was done by the factory or something else? I thought it might have been a Canadian rebuilt model but this is in Arizona.

Red Super J

Canada had older red/white and white/red models but there was never a red Super J.Probably from a vac store or someone who really liked red.

Not a genuine Electrolux color...

At one point, I thought about painting my Super J maroon. The gold is just so garish, a true artifact of its time. But I thought better of it and left it original. It's interesting to see that someone else had the same idea—and acted on it.

It’s purely an example of bad taste....

That shade of red isn’t congruent with any periodic color trend marketing for the era of this machine, or any era beyond. Who knows where this came from.
