My entire home 2400 sq ft is either hardwood or luxury vinyl plank flooring. I had originally bought a shark flex duoclean and it was a terrible decision.  No pet hair but 2 adolescent girls and a wife with lots of hair.  Also lots of dirt, grass, etc. makes its way into our home as they love to come inside without wiping their feet or taking off shoes. They're kids. A couple of small throw rugs and that is it. We don't have any severe allergies.
