Had a wonderful time at Luke's mini meet a couple weeks ago. It was great visiting with old friends, some I hadn't seen for a long time, meeting new ones, running some vacs, and enjoying the delicious meal Luke and Levi prepared for us! Visiting, vacuums, and vittles are always a great combination. I had brought 5 vacs with me to rehome and was given 2 to add to my collection. The model 666 Electro-Hygiene pictured here was a gift from Jay Hutson (thanks again Jay), who wasn't there but took it to the VCCC Convention for Luke to bring it to me. It runs great and has all the attachments except for the hose. I do have a blue hose I can use with it for now, but I really hope to find the matching yellow one someday. Also included but not in the picture were enough bags to last me a while. I didn't take the pic here, but it is one that Jay posted when he asked if anyone was interested in it.
The other addition to my collection is a model 81 Royal Junior straight suction hand vac, which was a gift from Kieran Frederick (thanks again Kieran), Hoover 300 here in Vacuumland. It also runs great and is now the oldest Royal hand vac in my collection. Don't have a picture of it yet but will post one when I get some taken. I also enjoyed seeing and running some of the beautiful vintage vacs that Kieran brought with him. When I got home, my wife Lena was happy to see that I came home with fewer vacs than I left with!
