£20 I'd be happy to pay, over £1k though! I wouldnt spend that on a car let alone a hoover with damage and a bojack bag!

Bet that gets relisted again and again with a slightly lower price each time!

MAN O MAN!

I am really rich!! If I could sell everything I own for those prices I could retire !!

Oh wow, I love this. IN Sa I have an advert running on Gumtree that I am looking for vintage vacuum cleaners and willing to pay a fair price. Seen as most stuff here ends up in the dump and not on ebay vintage vacuums are rare and I will pay more than most for them. That said I get a lot of people with " Really Old ancient " Kirby legend ii wanting more than a new Kirby for them. and the best one was a Hoover Junior ( not a big favorite of mine ) they guy called and said If i was willing to give him R 5000.00 ( about $ 500.00 ) he would even throw in some spare bags.NO Thanks.

Then I get the oposite end, of wow I have something that looks old and I will give it to you if I can see your collection, Its normally the best ones I get this way

I was discussing this very Hoover with a coworker while studying eBay (which I do every day). While the opening bid was very optimistic, I believe that sometimes, people put these things on eBay with such high opening bids because they don't really want to sell them. They just want to show them off.
