I became the owner of a home in January this year, and inherited a vintage Rainbow vacuum cleaner. There are many nozzles and attachments, and it's in decent condition. It belonged to the prior owner, who recently passed away, so I inherited it. Let me know if you are interested in purchasing. More photos available upon request. $200 or best offer. (I'm having trouble flipping this photo, that's why it's upside down.)

That's a mid 1970's model. Please remove the separator and post a picture of what the motor looks like inside. The separator is the slotted cone on the bottom of the motor unit - there's a brass nut that holds it in place. Also, please take a photo of the attachments, hoses (there will be two) and the power nozzle (especially the underside of the power nozzle).

If that macine has a power nozzle

I have a D2 that looks like that one and it does not have a socket for a power nozzle. I used to have another one that did and it had a 3 prong socket and a rebadged Eureka power nozzle.

I have decided not to sell this item. The deceased owner is mad that I'm selling it and moving silverware, pictures, and glass around my house :-| Back to the shed. (I'm a medium, so yes, this is legitimate.)
