Rainbow E2 4 quart basin questions

Does anyone know why the newer black version 4 quart basin won't fit the older models? It is cheaper to buy and looks easier to clean out. If it won't fit could I modify my dolly to make it work? This seems strange that it wouldn't fit because the smaller basin is the same for all E2s. I have the blue model by the way.

I didn’t even know they changed the 4qt basin on the E2 Black model. I hope they come out with a 4qt basin for the new SRX model that just got released. Don’t get me wrong 2qt is great but if you can get further cleaning done with a larger container I say go for it.

The second pic doesn't look like it would fit any rainbow. I'm pretty sure one is made that will fit. I could be wrong but this that doesn't look oem.

that's the upcoming model, strangely I can't locate the thread we had discussing it. Oh i see now, the thread was deleted. I'm going to guess someone from Rainbow saw that and disliked that information was being shared about it on a publicly viewable forum.

whats the fb group called that I can find all the information and videos on the new model? I'm really interested in it as I've never used rainbow before and now that theyve launch a model that answers what I want, I might end up getting it. But my questions about the accesories and 4 qt basin as well as the 14ft hose and if any of those are compatible with the new model remain the same.
