Rainbow D2 insulation

So I have a rainbow D2 vacuum that I had for about 6 years already and one interesting thing is that they would have a foam like insulation inside the motor. I don't have that with my rainbow but hopefully there's an alternative way to insulate the D2 so it can be quiet.

Foam came on the E series 2 speed or the gold 2 speed. I don't believe they were designed to have insulation it could heat up things that shouldn't be heated.
If you go to raunvac you can look up parts and see for sure.

The foam insert was only used in the chocolate D2 before the D3 was introduced. I've attached a link below to where you can purchase one.

Turns out I actually already have the insulation inside there. How embarrassing of me! Lol. See that styrofoam?
