I just had to have this little vacuum cleaner.

Made around the 50’s / 60’s by a local manufacture, which I can’t find any information on, so I can only guess at the age.

Plate information:
E.W.Jones LTD
Wellington, Shropshire, UK
Ser No 9004 Model J1960 WREKIN

Wellington in Shropshire is only an hour’s drive from my home, the Wrekin is a hill, actually it’s a dead volcano in the hart of Shropshire.

The vacuum works but needs the usual re-wire and clean, the end plates need a fresh coat of paint.

Vacuum chamber cover, many years of pipe insertion have chipped away the paint which has lead to the rust problem.

Funny little machine, it has no power switch to turn in on and off with.

It came with a carpet tool, hard floor tool, dusting brush and hoses.
