They may be 'cheap quality' but they do outstanding job vacing bare floor & carpet w/o 'flipping a lever' like the 'so-called generic fit-all combo rug'floor tool'
I use that tool with my Ridgid vac for vacing garage carpet & also after cutting hair (Wahl Senior vacuum clippers don't vacuum ALL of the hairclippings due to the vac hose kinking)
That's what Sears Craftsman calls a 'dry nozzle' for their shop vacs
I like that it has a spring loaded brush & air vents on the front edge & corners; but don't like that the brush doesn't cover the entire width
