After a month of extensive cleaning, repeated discombobulating, stuck screws, suffering, and contemplating my life choices leading up to obtaining this vacuum, Kirby has finally been promoted to indoor-cat status!*
This means I've deemed the unit clean enough to bring into my house, though he still needs a little bit of work ie. those replacement parts I mentioned. Really gotta stop buying TBLT model-equivalents and work on repairing the one I have, even if he's a little messed up looking.
* "Indoor-cat status"; The state of any appliance that is allowed in the house instead of the garage.
While making this post I dropped him VERY LOUDLY and somehow didn't wake anyone.
(Also from my first thread, I beg for no more talk about the Amalgam's origins! For my sanity, I will continue to call it a DS80 and treat it as such. All of the mixed theories have been messing with my anxiety and making me feel nauseous.)
