Powermate and Wands?

Hi Folks!
I got a call after class from Mr. Nathan Thomas, My friendly Electrolux Man. he found me a MOL Kenmroe Powermate at an estate sale for $5, and says he will service it and then ship it out. Does anybody have a Powermate and set of Wands? I plan to call Jimmy Martin about those after work.

Call anytime.But as a quick update most Sears vacs are on back corner of 2nd floor.Most PowerMates with painted wand just came down from attic to join them.There are many 2 piece chrome wands in 2 or 3 places to be sorted.I have started organising yet another storage area that will have Eureka,Elux & Sears power nozzles in boxes.I recall that the Sears nozzles are mostly the white/dark brown 1984 styles and newer but there could be others with them.MOST Sears need to GO this spring!You and 2 others have spoken for some.There will be many for others,scrap metal yard or dumpster!!,

Hi jimmy! Im Calling on Saturday. i was working at the vacuum shop until 9 today. Ill need a powermate and wands for this one, as well as a TOL complete. Tyler will pick it all up and pay.
Tyler will have a HUGE list from me of things im looking for. Ill post it here, but i beleive he got some of it from Tom Gasko today

-A Complete TOL Blue or green Woodgrain Kenmore magic Cord (with extra set of wands as well as 10 bags)
-a SET (one left and one right...some people dont know what a set is!
Seriously!) or either white or tan Electrolux Plastic Canister Bumpers
with Locking Keys
-2 General Electric Wands (Swivel Top) as well as a Rug Tool for a GE
-Electrolux Epic 6000 (does NOT use attachment converter, that is the
Epic 6500. Will attach Pictures of Both)
-Electrolux Epic 6500
-Electrolux AF Cordwinder
-An Electrolux Heavy Duty Upright, (preferably matching the Silverado
Upright) (with a few bags)
-MOL Kenmore Powermate with wands
GENUINE Aerus/Electrolux Vinyl Electric hose (genuine wont have a switch)

P.S I love anything Genuine Aerus Electrolux, IE Attachments, woven/Vinyl hoses and canisters...

the kenmore stuff you ask for will be almost impossible to find by itself unless you dig vacuum shops. jimmy threw out all his 70's era kenmore stuff last summer. best to look at vacuum shops near you (you live in illinois that shouldnt be hard to find vac shops with lots of old crap in the back rooms) .

i will also tell you, 70's era powermates are very hard to service. they are extremely fragile in really bad places and the height adjusters are almost always broken. the pn motors ARE servicable, but requires some improv after you drill the crappy plastic rivets out.

Not quite ALL !!
I have very few if any 80s using 5055 bags.I do have several 70s(mostly green)with many PowerMates,lots of wands/atts and a very few hoses.Many 60s,several with PowerMates,in cream,tan & pale green.Also example of every 50s style KM including Kenkart & Lady Kenmore.Most need to go to new homes.As Andy has a collector friend planning a trip in this direction they will be easy to pick up.
Most Sears and much,MUCH more need to go this year.Some brands ALL will go.Much more about all of them soon with pictures!
