Man has it seen some heavy use lately, aside from tons of sheetrock dust, it also has been used to power the Kirby Turbo Sander ,we sanded about 5 layers of paint off of the kitchen cabinets, im going to give it a good cleaning soon, I used this one because its not as pristine as some of my others.

I found out for sure!

A Compact maintains suction much longer than an Electrolux, I started out with a Silverado, but that fine dust stopped it up so fast I was using way too many bags, The Compact held its airflow much longer.

I used my filter queen one time to do some sheetrock dusting and you could hear the pitch run high almost at once and it was just "light" dusting. I had an old dyson I didn't care anything about so I did the rest of it with that and gave my FQ a good bath. One time Mom and I used her Vortech when we took the "popcorn crap" off the ceiling, it did pretty well.

Love my Compact...............

With a dog and a cat in the house, it fills quickly as a daily driver. I was using too many disposable bags.

Did U use micro-lined paper bags, single-ply paper bags (with the cloth bag) or just the cloth bag only? Micro-lined bags retain airflow & suction longer; & keep the fine dust contained inside the micro-lined paper bag.

I use micro-lined paper bags inside the cloth bag & HEPA motor filter with all of my Compact/TriStar vacuums & no dust leaks past the micro-lined bag.

Is there any HEPA bags available for the Compact/TriStar? The "supercharged" EXL is my daily driver; the vintage machines get less use since I got the EXL.
