This is a Convertible that Ive had for a while that came from my good friend Ken Hedrick, it was in perfect shape except for the bag, it was some kind of mesh cloth home-sewn thing with a wood dowel at the top and a lot of holes. So I put a NOS orange Hoover Commerial Convertible dump-out bag (a lovely gift from my other good friend Jonathon Radesky 😃) on it, and it works amazingly! The colour red that the hood is looks like "Guardsman Red" to me and I'm going to match it with a 37' orange cord!

Hoover Guardsman

WOW Austin!! You sure made a looker out of that mess I gave you!! That had to be one of the biggest train wrecks to date. However, I have go complement the previous owner for the ingeniuity in making that bag, complete with wooden dowl, staples, glue and probably baling wire!!! LOL!! Glad its up and running.
I picked up a Singer twin fan today with a cord rewinder!!! Pretty cool.

Thanks Ken!

This project was actually a really quick ons since it was basically just a new bag and a heavy spa treatment. It runs like it was brand new! Now I just need some Hoover Guardsman logos to make it official lol along with the 37' orange cord.
