we had oneMy grandmother had that GE in the garage when I was young. she bought a hoover convertible around 1969 or so to replace it. In the mid 70's our convertible was on it's last legs and my mom borrowed it from my grandmother. Had pink bags, cord stored in pocket on bag and the handle release was on the handle grip. It did not compare to the convertible for cleaning though. Mom bought a new convertable in 1977 (I kicked and screamed for a dial a matic powerdrive)and the ge went back in grandma's basement. Then the aunt borrowed it and the last time saw it (around 1990 or so) it was trashed with tape all over the handle and I am sure it ended up in the dumps. Grandma past away 3 years ago now and the house is jsut sitting there. cant waint to go through 2 levels of basement - there is sure to be another vac there somewhere. I know there is a pink regina floor polisher in a box.
