Never knew about it being a plug and socket connection! We have one of the original handle setups in storage, sans the cleaner it was originally fitted to. Never paid much attention to it, so will have to try find it and have a look.
Have just been informed that we do have (we think) the final red Turbopower you mentioned from 1998. Will take a while to get to it though, as its a high numbered model!
