Pete's Back garden retreat is in full show stopping bloom as it cycles through the abundant plantings. The house is on an inside curved street and so the back yard is pie shaped w i d e.

To do it justice a photo smerge is necessary.

I'd brought along a brown Filter Queen jumper cord so Pete could finally use his FQ PN.

As pretty as it is in gleaming chromed plastic it is still and always like shoving a wobbly shoebox across the carpet.

A touch of sanding and enamel spray paint and she'll agitate like new again.

The cord stores inside that big hole. below that is the vertical shallow finned agitator wheel pulley running to an electric motor in the base.

No switch to operate, just fill with water, plug it in and dump in your dainties. Don't forget to secure the drain hose up into the clip.

Stainless Steel tub in excellent condition. The wringer handle pulls off and the assembly rotates down into the tub for storage. The drain tray doubles as a flat topped tub lid so you can use it as a lovely Streamline plant stand in your small efficiency apartment.

Stuff rescued from my travels:

a Beaumark with electric hose and half a wand.

GE wand with round dusting brush.

a 3 cup electric percolator.

an older Filter Queen floor nozzle and lightweight wands. I think they might be aluminum?

Kirby Classic III satchel of parts and bits. Pete tossed in the spare partz-less Kirby Classic III, one I didn't have, when I pulled out this kit. I have many more salvaged red Kirby bits at home including a hose...just waiting for the vacuum to show up. :-) Thank you, Pete!

And it works? 30 foot cord plugs into the cigarette lighter socket. The handle can be rotated to the back for window Defrosting use. And if it's dark on a showy night there's a flashlight for working under the hood.

Made in the U.S.A. copyrighted 1968 on the bottom.

Voyage to the Bottom Of Deep Space anyone?

Pete hasn't been able to use his hose-less Airway 88. I found him the hose ends and he came up with this 12 foot flexihose. I put them together and now he can be a recumbent Homemaker of Leisure in his electric lounge tasting succulent Bonbons, watching the afternoon Soaps while the puppies gaze rapt in amazement.

Awwwww, PUPPIES!

It doesn't get much cuter or casual than this.

Pete says 'Hi, y'all' Been taking a sabbatical from the site to recharge and organize the basement vacuum/percolatlor, toaster oven, irons, toasters, mixers, blenders, frypan skillets, etc display.

Nice tan, eh!

Vacuums I stuffed in the car. Pete surprised me with a Kirby Omega, too! and a lime green Convertible, and a little Kenmore woth PN that needs a hose, which I happen to have in the hose partz bin. Another excellent loaner vac.
