Jet Flo Uprights

I remember servicing one Jet Flo upright for a friend, don't remember the model number.  14" dual brushed agitator with Panasonics common single brush bristle tuft on the opposite end of the belt with no suction duct extending over-- I'm not a fan of that cleaning style.  The unit was a pulley system, not self propelled but it had 2 belts for the brushroll.  My memory is vague on it but I think it had an on/off for the brushroll and a 2 motor system.  It was a "Clean air" design hard case bagged vacuum.  Could've just been too old but it did not do a very good job cleaning his plush carpets.  A Hoover Caddy Vac Runabout did much better.

I worked in a mall restaurant and our Panasonic Ultra Pro commercial vacuum broke, so for a while I actually got permission and would go around to various stores in the mall borrowing their vacuums.  Many actually had Commercial Panasonic uprights can't remember the model name of them if they were Jet Flo's or something else and of course eBay doesn't have any used Panasonic commercial uprights right now but I was unimpressed with all of them.  Not one cleaned our low pile carpet well.  The 4 best vacuums I encountered from my borrowing were:

1. Dirt Devil Impulse- green-- loud, very hard to push but man you could vacuum prints on that carpet all day long!!  Never saw that carpet look so good.

2.  Hoover Windtunnel canister S3630- I actually borrowed this from Sears, it was one of their display units for sale- Hahahh, later had a conflict with one of their sales associates as she didn't like that another sales associate gave me permission to borrow it.  It did clean though- nice vacuum prints, the front wheels on the power head squeaked obnoxiously though.

3. Hoover FloorMax- no this is not a polisher, same sounding motor to a Decade 800 this dirtcup style commercial Hoover upright was a favorite of mine to use, I borrowed this one often.

4. Electrolux Prolux. Now Aerus, this then Electrolux was two motors and cleaned well.

Well I hope my posts on the Jet Flos were helpful.  Let us know what your model Jet Flo is- canister or upright and give us a picture!  Thanks

Rob
