Jet Flo canisters
I don't have parts but can offer some info. Panasonic made jet flo uprights and canisters. Generally the canisters were semi hi end in that they had food pedal on/off agitator switch, and 4 speed push button selector. We had one which would have been purchased around 1992, I know that because it only lasted about 5 years and was replaced by a Hoover PowerMax S3603-040 canister vacuum in September 1997 which still runs strong.
Back to the Matsushita Panasonic, our model was $240 purchased in a vacuum store it stated Panasonic Jet Flo 240, model MC9527. It had a "gas pump" style handle with no controls on it, the chrome wands did not have any cord hooks, so you had to bend down to the floor to pick up the power head cord, plug it in and there was a fold down holder on the hose rectacle to keep the taut power head cord plugged in. The power nozzle was not your typical Cen-Tec systems design that they all have now. Not sure who made the powernozzle for the Jet Flos. It had a 14" metal agitator with 2 replaceable brush strips and suction duct which extended under belt protector for full suction across entire power nozzle. There was about 1.5" of bristle on the other side of the belt so the machine had agitator brush end to end, also a rubber squeegee located behind agitator cavity. Foot operated on/off agitator switch. 6' 360 degree rubber hose 4 onboard tools on back of machine each with a hole for the spring loaded grip to lock in. The upholstery tool was cheap with a bristle bar that broke loose easily. 4 power settings: Curtains, Upholstery, Rugs & Rugs w/ Full Power- suction overkill on Rugs w/ Full Power. The power nozzle would only turn on in one of the Rugs settings. The units were mostly tan with dark brown on bottom. Suction unit wheels were rubber coated, metal power nozzle base. Overall not a bad cleaner but the agitator was a little overpowered and definitely a stretch belt system that needed replaced quarterly, or atleast every 6 months, as Rugs w/ Full Power setting which my dad insisted us use dug power nozzle in deep and really slowed agitator. Electrostatic micron filtration, blower function and semi-large capacity Type C-3 bags, 12 System with full power and power head running.
At about 3 years old the very stiff on/off switch broke. It was a $50 repair which the shop said is quite common for these units. At 5 years old, I came home from school and found out that it had smoked up our basement that day. Our basement was my dad's doctors office so he had to cancel some morning patients. That was the end of the Panasonic Jet Flo. I tried servicing it once and it was a mess of wiring inside the suction unit, with a chincy piece of paper as protector around all the open exposed copper. I didn't even bother it looked too awful a copper setup to fathom, but I was about 14 at the time too, so definitely not an electrician or anything. It had a lot of trouble with the power settings. When you pushed it for one, it was supposed to release another, often it wouldn't and then it would blow a breaker.
I know of one model of these, I believe Panasonice Jet Flo MC9540 with a reversible agitator. The brushroll would actually change direction depending on which way you pushed the unit, interesting technology, never used one myself to see a cleaning difference from it. There are some Youtube videos by various users of Panasonic Jet Flo canisters.
