Last year, the vacuum stopped working cold turkey due to a dead power switch. Would anyone have a switch that would fit this machine they'd be willing to sell? This vacuum is essentially the same machine as the Fantom Thunder. I looked every which way on line without any luck.

Could you rig a switch from something else into its place? Sometimes the underlying power switch is fairly basic and it's just the cosmetic button that the consumer pushes which is more cosmetic and decorative!

Also did anything pop up when you inputed your machine model number into the Sears parts website to get the part number. Once you get the part number you can plug that number into google, Amazon, eBay and other sites to see if something sparks!!

Additionally if you can get the model number and part number from the identical Fantom and search parts all around again.

As someone mentioned, the switch may be generic.

You should try to get to it, and post pics if you can.

There may be markings on it, that would help find a replacement.

Right now, Sears PartsDirect has diagram & electrical schematics for 17 Iona vacuum models.

It would be helpful to capture those images.

(To save them, click on full size, and save the enlarged diagrams)
