I've spotted a few fellow ABBA fans on here and thought I'd share this for those interested.
In 1993, Carl Magnus Palm, who has written many ABBA related books and wrote the liner notes for the anniversary edition of ABBA Gold, was granted access to sit and listen to the original master tapes with Benny, Bjorn and Michael Tretow for many Abba tracks, both released and unreleased. He interviewed the band several times and made extensive notes, eventually publishing "The Complete Studio Recordings" in 1994. It's pretty much the holy grail of Abba boooks, although it's now out of print and like gold dust to get hold of.
Carl has started work on self-publishing and updated version of the book.
The book is available through pre-order only via Carl's crowdfunding campaign and only 1 run of published books will take place. It's quite pricey, but for an ABBA fan, absolutely worth it.
