I have had this stuff in my garage now since September. It ain't no fun any more. So, Terry and I (Terry saw the stuff a few days ago - first time) have decided we really need to push to get rid of what is left of the NC57 once and for all. If you see anything here in these pictures that you can't live without. Make an offer. E-mail Terry or myself and we will contact you back. This is the last step just before the final EBay push. It's a shame to have to call 1-800-got junk or whatever it is, but it really has to move out. Once the stuff goes to EBay and does not move, the machines will become scrap to be used in a new skyscraper. We can tell you details about the machines in an E-mail, if there are any questions. Your offer + Shipping and it's yours! There are one or two machines that are going to have a set price though...sorry.

Thanks for any interest,

Terry and Rick

Rick and Terry, if the cord winder on the Lux LX still has the original Belden plug, and no one claims the entire machine, could I get just the cord winder? If so, let me know what you want for it and the shipping etc.

Thx

OMG OMG OMG OMG

how much for the reginas? and do you have any hoses and other tools for the reginas or(the mastercrafts)?
thanks-scott

Keep an eye out here......

Tomorrow night, I'll post pictures of the tool sets/accessories that are available in the stack. I spent the day sorting through them and taking pictures, so stay tuned.

Now to answer a few questions:

Sorry Charles, the plug is a replacement.

You are right John, there were a bunch of hoses. Still are. But they all went with machines other than what was in the purchase.

There's two AirWay 66's.

Pat - I'll E-mail you.

Sorry Scott...no hoses for the Regina/Mastercrafts. Some tools though.

Tyler - I'm going to answer your E-mail after I finish here...

Please everyone, if you could, E-mail only. Thanks.

This brings up well intentioned but mis-guided behaviour tha

...in this and other threads.

It is simply plain good manners that when someone posts about something on offer and open to all, that interested folks take the polite next step and directly email the offerer with inquiries to begin the dialog. One cannot nor should one expect the offerer to email you first. That's just presumptuous and rude...

If the offerer has not stated a desired ballpark price then it means he doesn't have one and hopes for the best, as would we all. However, it still behooves the interested to at least make a lowball offer based on their regional sense of what a thing is worth to a fellow collector/hobbyist. Unless it is laughable, 99% of the time your offer will be accepted and shipping needs & costs can then be addressed. And again, haggling, cajoling and bargaining is an activity best left to private email correspondence.

In my case, Rick & Terry, there is sadly nothing left over that I either don't already have one of, or could possibly be justified for the enormous shipping cost to Canada. But I have my favoured souvenirs of the NC 57 - the Lewyt 66 and the micro upholstery nozzle for the Modern Hygiene. Just knowing these objects were actually touched by yourselves is extra special. :-)

Speaking for myself, I'm very sorry but I did not mean to be presumptuous or rude.

I just figured, my question about the cord reel could be most easily asked and answered here, not realizing or "thinking it through" that doing so would be a breech of netiquette. To say nothing of presumptuous and rude.

Good luck selling the stuff guys, and hopefully with as little hassle as possible.

I believe it is clear I was not referring to you Charles, or John or Pat, for your reasonable questions, the answers to which would lead you to pursue the thing or not.

Rick is being equally clear when he states "If you see anything here in these pictures that you can't live without. Make an offer. E-mail Terry or myself and we will contact you back. This is the last step just before the final EBay push."

The broadly general point being made "...in this and other threads", is this:

One should not expect the offerer to email you first just because you have posted that "Holy Cow, I really want that, how much do you want for it?", (as though the Forums are 'live chat/instant messaging/twittertweets') which also implies that the seller should take time from their busy schedule to email you when you have yet to make an offer.

Dave

Well, I guess I'm kinda clueless sometimes ... it -wasn't- really clear to me that you weren't referring to me since I -was- one of the people who posted a public message instead of sending a private email. *smile*

Nonetheless, "lesson learned" -- that good manners dictate that one should send private messages in such situations, rather than presuming that the seller "should take time from their busy schedule to email you when you have yet to make an offer."

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

Sorry....

I guess I am guilty of that, too. I should've sent you an email. I bet you had LOTS of fun sorting through all the tool sets. What a job! Well....one day you will get your garage back!
