Charlie,
On your website on one of the Great American Garage Cleanup pages I saw an old Hoover that looked pretty neat. (see link below)It is in the picture with Roger Proehl's Ham.Beach in fact it is right next to it. It is the one with the bojack bag.
If you still have it would you be interested in selling it to me, trading for it, or giving it to me free of charge (in my dreams). Also th link isn't working so here is the URL.

Sorry, but I no longer have most of the machines you see in those photos, including the Hoover you asked about. They're nearly all gone. I do still have the really old Kirbys, which are still patiently waiting for restoration.

Thanks anyway Charlie

Shame about that Hoover. On a side note, do you have any Hoovers old or new that you would sell or trade (take a look at my profile)?

vintageroyal611: I've looked at your dream machine list, looks like you like a lot of the same machines that I do! One cleaner I can almost guarantee you won't find is the 875 - it was only sold in Britain, and was only made for about 6 months. Production figures would have been in the hundreds, not thousands, I'd guess. Two have come up on eBay over the last 5 years or so (one of which was the one I won), and I know of another collector who has one - apart from those, you probably won't see another for a while. I'm pretty certain the picture of mine on my site is the only picture of one anywhere online, too! I couldn't find a picture anywhere (and believe me, I looked!), before I actually got one of my own. An instruction manual for the 875 came up on eBay quite recently too, and I missed it! Still not quite over the pain...
