The Lux PN on the left had such an interesting paint job I just had to keep it. The nozzle on the right has a three prong plug receptacle on the top of it. The brushroll was odd because it has two rows of bristles and one row of beaters. Its also driven by a geared belt. I have no idea what machine it even goes to.

The right hand power nozzle is a PN-2. It launched in 1973, during the last of the model 1205s. It ran with the Golden Jubilee, and was the power nozzle of the first version of the Super J. The problem with it was three things. One, it would seal down to the rug making it hard to push. Two, it had NO edge cleaning feature. Three, the cord would come unplugged from the top of the power nozzle as the wand raised and lowered during normal cleaning. It's actually a two wire cord, the third pin is a locator pin (that's why its plastic). On the commercial models, it was replaced by a metal pin for the grounding wire. The beater bar brush roller was an option, as was three row brushes, and very soft bristle brushes as well. Interestingly the PN-2 was the only Electrolux brush roller for a power nozzle that could be adjusted to compensate for bristle wear.

That brush looks like it fits a 1980s Kenmore PN. They used a gear belt, and those ends look as if they fit Kenmore!

The brush roll was also used on the later models of Air-Way Signature Series and the Centurion. (Later replaced by the, "Quiet Series.)

The P/N's were made by Centec for central systems, Kenmore and Air-Way among others.
