Numatic 2009 motor into a 1994 NVQ250

All this NVQ250 reminded me that I have a 1994 model in the garage that I got from a skip. I used it for the car, and the handy blower function and then the motor burnt out.

I have a 2009 nuvac (grey one with a top like James) which I'm bored of. Will the motor fit the nvq? Would make a little beast!

Hi there,

It should fit, as most Numatic motors have backwards compatibility.
It's not too hard either, I have changed the motor in a Henry before and it was really quite simple.

Cheers Joe. I had hoped they were basically the same motor, they look pretty similar although I've not had both out at the same time to properly compare.

May make it a summer project then!

I'm glad I could help. Numatic have used lots of different motors over the years, but they are all pretty similar.
