I was given an Arrow ELectro today. The canister is in very good shape, the chrome is lightly pitted, but I think a good paste and elbow grease will get rid of it.

The motor feels very strong, succion is powerful at front end, so is exhaust at the other end. I suspect there was a filter at the rear end, but I may be wrong, I don't know that model at all.

I didn't get any cord with it, I used an ELectrolux cord of the same era to test the motor.

The weak part is the hose. It is cracked at several places.

I will send more pictures shortly.

Hi Francois

I picked up the identical machine a couple of months ago. Here's a picture of it with the proper hose and rug/floor nozzle (I didn't get the small parts with it).

Arrow Electro was made by Holland Electro in Holland for the Arrow Sewing Machine Co. in Canada. This model would have been the lower line machine around 1960.

No there wasn't an exhaust filter.

That's a gorgeous piece of industrial design that just can't be replicated in modern plastic. Get busy with some Mother's and shine that puppy up!

Bought lots of Electrolux accessories today including 15 to 20 floor brushes (some of them are brand new I guess) , the seller also had LOTS of bags of all makes and models for sale, I bought 3-4 Eureka bags with a rubber ring that could fit the Arrow tank, I'll let you know.

MIne has its original shake-out cloth bag too, but i'm looking for something that could catch more dust.

I'd be curious to see what your flat filter looks like, does it look like factory made?
