Nice Electrolux find

What a beauty! It shouldn't take too much effort to find attachments for it, although a PN1 with the original plastic wand might be elusive -- they are easily cracked and were often replaced with a 1205-style wand.

Here's a really lovely ad for the earliest version of the G.

P.S.: While the hose looks great, it most probably leaks like a sieve. You'll find your G's performance will be dramatically improved with a new hose. If you look diligently, you should be able to find a blue coiled-vinyl hose that will be a lovely match. There's a blue Eureka canister from the 1960s whose coiled hose is a good color match. You'd just have to change the metal ends.

Electrolux Model G

Great find!Almost looks as good as the picture.I should still have a couple of original PN 1s with white wand on an upper shelf at warehouse.(Upper means 10 feet off floor so I may not instantly find.)That and your original hose and cord would be the rarest parts of a G.Rubber straps should be evenly spaced and yours is the version after above picture. There was a button hook type tool to help install these.Let me know if you, or anyone, needs a PN 1.

Lucky You!!!!

Oh, am I jealous! :P Great find!!! And the price was fabulous too. I will have to do some serious scouring of thrift stores soon! Mind if I come thrift shopping with you?

WOW

Thrift shops around here don't have anything that pretty! The only thing I have ever found at a thrift store is a Heritage 2 shampooer and zip brush. Congrats on a great find!

PN 1s

Haven't climbed up to upper shelf yet.(Will try soon when time allows.)All would be Model G (most blue, possible tan)None with one piece cord. Not sure if any are early with no reset and small bearings.Total might be half a dozen when sorted.Should have good white wands.
