The Speed Queen brand for laundry equipment compares best to Kirby it would seem, except they, unlike Kirby, sell mostly to the commercial market and only somewhat to consumers.
I really enjoyed the whole experience and recommend familiarizing yourself with the automaticwasher.org site, especially if you're in the market for replacement machines.
