Hey everyone, I'm just making this thread to show my newest vacuums that I've purchased. I got a Miele Gemini with SEB 234/236, a Miele U1 Twist upright, a Hoover Concept One (late model), a Hoover Dial A Matic Power drive, and lastly a Hoover Convertible. I've worked on them all mechanically, and for the most part cosmetically. They all work great now, with new belts and things. I purchased all of these vacuums excluding the Miele upright from user stricklybojack. He was very generous to let me look through some of his vacuums, and pick out some that I liked. I am VERY satisfied with what I have, and the price I paid. It really seemed too good to be true, but was totally legit. Eventually I'll make some videos on these vacuums, and possibly sell some, but it's always nice to have experience with a fully new type of vacuum. The only vacuum I'm familiar with out of these is the convertible, and that bag pattern and color is very cool. Feel free to ask questions about the vacuums, and I can take closer pictures of specific places of vacuums upon request. I'll mention that I'm not comfortable with sharing the price I paid for these. More to come soon! I'm also starting to break my vacuum boundaries, at 35 vacuums solely stored in my room. There's more in the garage and attic. My plans are to not go over 100 while living in this house. I'll be picking up that Eureka Retro Vac on December 22nd, and will post about it once I have it, because I've never had that style eureka upright before.

Try estate sales

I often see the Hoover or Regina floor scrubbers at estate sales. My Mom had a Regina one with all sorts of brushes and pads and the tank. It was two speed. The year before last when I was there for the holidays we packed it up and sent it off to a mission which has a thrift store. I was careful to bag up all the accessories and tape the bag to the machine and wrote on the bag accessories for this machine so they wouldn’t get lost or separated from it as often happens at thrift stores. Come to find out, my Brother could have used it to burnish his floors but little did we know that he would be interested.
